In Native American tradition, the circle is a significant symbol. It represents equality and mutual respect, where every voice is heard. It’s an unbroken connection, symbolizing closeness and protection. Strength and unity.
Black Elk of the Oglala Sioux called it "The Great Circle," saying, “So long as the hoop was unbroken, the people flourished. The flowering tree was the living center of the hoop, and the circle of the four quarters nourished it. The east gave peace and light, the south gave warmth, the west gave rain, and the north with its cold and mighty wind gave strength and endurance. Everything the Power of the World does is done in a circle.”
We at Native Hope would like to invite you to join our circle, The Circle of Hope.
The Circle of Hope is a community of people — Native and non-Native — who affirm the Native values of respect, honesty, compassion, generosity, prayer, humility, and wisdom. People who are committed to supporting Native Americans and investing in their future. Stand in Solidarity. Invest in Hope.

Since financial support on reservations is often limited, funding for this program allows Native Hope to provide much-needed resources to those who need it most. Native Hope meets with community members, listens to their needs, develops partnerships, creates a network of support, and takes action.
The Native Hope Fellowship Program empowers creativity and leadership in Indigenous Peoples and their communities. The initiative creates and supports opportunities and funding for individuals to develop their vision and improve Indian Country. Our Fellows' creative wisdom and level of commitment to the betterment of their communities and people will advance a broader understanding of Native cultures, perspectives, and journeys.
Storytelling Heals help us work toward the realization of our vision to address the injustice done to Native Americans. We dismantle barriers, bring healing, and inspire hope through the power of storytelling and impactful programming. Our team works to both inspire a national conversation on the untold story of Native America and address the real issues that Native people in communities face.
